Filter magnets (6)
A filter magnet captures iron particles from liquids, powders and granulates. Our filter magnets are stainless steel rods containing N42 neodymium magnets, diametrically magnetised. Both ends have an internal thread, so you can easily mount them in a grid, frame, hopper or pipe. Choose from diameters of Ø12 to Ø32 mm and lengths of 120 to 430 mm.
Which filter magnet should you choose?
| Diameter | Lengths | Internal thread |
|---|---|---|
| Ø12 mm | 200 mm | M6 |
| Ø16 to Ø22 mm | 120 to 200 mm | M8 |
| Ø25 mm | 150 to 310 mm | M8 |
| Ø32 mm | 300 and 430 mm | M10 |
- Length: choose a rod that covers the full width of your product flow.
- Diameter: a thicker rod has a stronger field and also captures particles at a slightly greater distance.
- Multiple rods: in a grid with small gaps, all of the product passes close to a magnet.

Frequently asked questions
How do I clean a filter magnet?
Wipe the iron particles towards the end of the rod with a cloth or glove and remove them there. Check and clean the rods regularly; a loaded magnet captures less.
What does diametrically magnetised mean?
The poles are on the sides of the rod, not at the ends, so the magnet works along its entire length.
Do you need a different size or a complete grid?
