Pot magnets with threaded stud (7)
A pot magnet with a threaded stud has excellent threading on the back. You insert the stud through a hole in a plate, bracket, or profile and secure the magnet with a nut. We supply them from Ø13 to Ø88 mm (M3 to M8): small steel versions and larger ones with a rubber coating that won't scratch.

Steel or rubber? A steel pot provides the most holding force when applied perpendicularly. A rubber version won't scratch and is less likely to slide due to its grip, making it ideal for paint and vertical walls.

What is the difference between a threaded stud and a threaded insert?
A threaded stud protrudes from the magnet and is secured with a nut. With a threaded insert, the thread is inside, and you screw in a bolt, hook, or eye.
How tightly should I tighten the nut?
Just tight enough. Too much force can damage the stud or the magnet core. A lock nut prevents it from loosening due to vibrations.
Can I use a rubber pot magnet on my car?
Yes, for temporary mounting. First clean the paint and rubber to ensure no grit gets underneath, and check that everything is securely fastened before driving.
