What is this magnet used for?

Very powerful: suitable for professional assembly, mechanical engineering, fixtures, and heavy objects. The steel pot concentrates the magnetic force on the flat front side, giving a pot magnet on steel significantly more holding force than the same magnet without a pot. The rubber coating protects the surface against which the magnet is placed and provides grip, preventing it from sliding easily.
