What do you use this magnet for?

Powerful: suitable for workshops and assembly, molds and jigs, signs, and heavier objects. The steel pot concentrates the magnetic force onto the flat front side, giving a pot magnet much more holding force on steel than the same magnet without a pot. With the countersunk hole, you can mount the magnet flush onto wood, plastic, or metal. Do not overtighten the screw: the magnetic material is brittle. Which pot magnet should you choose?

The holding force is measured under ideal conditions on a flat steel plate; in practice, the actual holding force is lower. Read how holding force is determined.

Safe use

Magnets are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children. Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers, electronics, and bank cards. Powerful magnets can snap together or against metal with force; keep your fingers away. The holding force is not a permitted workload: do not use magnets as the sole fastening method for lifting or hanging heavy loads where a fall could cause injury.

According to the declarations of conformity provided by the manufacturer, this product complies with the current European RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation.
