What do you use this magnet for?

Thin and light: suitable for model making, displays, sensors and mounting in small holes and tubes. The rod shape fits into a drilled hole or tube and pulls with the flat end. In jewelry, it should be fully enclosed and not come into contact with the skin: the NiCuNi layer contains nickel. How do I mount it?

Drill a hole slightly larger than 3 mm and secure the magnet with a two-component adhesive, such as UHU Plus epoxy adhesive. Do not force it in: neodymium is brittle.

Where are the poles?

At the two flat ends. The flat end pulls the strongest; the long side much less.

What is this size often used for?

In model making and miniatures, for example to make parts or figures removable, and to switch a reed contact or Hall sensor.

Is it safe in a home with children?

Keep these small magnets out of reach of children. If more than one is swallowed, they can attract each other inside the body and cause serious injury. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed.
